Educational Visits ****EXTRA CURRICULAR
Each year pupils from the school make educational visits both locally and further afield to enhance the learning experience and to give children a broader understanding and knowledge of termly topics.
In addition to these visits, Years 4, 5 and 6 also have the opportunity to attend residential trips.
- Year 4 visit Kingswood in Staffordshire to experience outdoor education
- Year 5 visit the Urdd Centre at Glan Llyn, Bala to develop their Welsh language skills through outdoor activities
- Year 6 visit Cardiff as an extension of their topic on Wales
Residential visits provide pupils with invaluable life skills. Pupils who attend these visits often say they ‘have had the time of their lives.’
